The 5
exclusive Tree houses are spread in a dense jungle of 21 acres
merging into the jungles of finest tiger reserves of the world. It
is not uncommon to spot animals from the privacy of ones balconies
which overlook the tiger reserve and the Bandhavgarh Fort. Designed
in a fetching fusion of traditional jungle living and contemporary
design, the tree houses are self contained and perfect getaway for a
couple that is fanatical about privacy. The bedrooms are furnished
with understated accessories in natural and earth tones.
Specially designed Suzuki jeeps accompanied by a trained English
speaking resident naturalist will ensure comfortable and experienced
interpretation of the park.
Facilities
At the
Tree House Hideaway we have taken care to design many activities and
excursions which generally all guests visiting Bandhavgarh miss out
on. The Hideaway in itself is geared up for many interesting options
and the trained naturalist team makes it all the more interesting.
Morning and Evening Jeep safari is organized in the Tiger reserve,
all the vehicles are 4 x 4 Suzuki open jeeps, fitted with
comfortable bucket seats and fridges. Inside the park you have the
option of leaving the jeep and getting on the elephant to take your
chance of getting close to the tiger.
Bandhavgarh Fort which forms the heart and the highest point of the
park is an alternate option to visit for one of the days with a
picnic lunch.
At the hideaway there is a small water body frequented by many
animals including the Tiger, a few quite hours on the machaan may
prove rewarding especially for photographers.
Birding around the hideaway and near the farmlands is an interesting
option to see over 250 bird species of this area.
Village visits, workshops with bamboo weavers and excursions to
Sanjay National park ( 2 hours) can also be organized on request.
All tree houses have modern attached bathrooms with 24 hrs h/c
water, living area, mini bar, split ACs with 100% power back up,
mosquito netting, writing table & chair, and loungers in the
balconies.
The Lodge also has Hides overlooking a water hole frequented by
wild animals.
Dining hall is built around a large Mahua tree, in two levels.
The ground level serves as a cosy dining hall and the terrace as
a bar known as the WATERING HOLE. Dining Hall offers Indian,
Continental and barbeque meals personalized to requirements of
the guests.
All Tree houses have been made by local staff using regularized
wood. Local craft knowledge and expertise has been used at all
quarters to ensure that the Tree Houses blend harmoniously with
nature.
