Pench National park, nestling in the lower southern reaches of the
satpuda hills is named after Pench river, meandering through the
park from north to south. It is located on the southern boundary of
Madhya Pradesh, bordering Maharashtra, in the districts of Seoni and
Chhindwara.
The undulating terrain of Pench is covered with small hills and well
stocked taek and mixed forest. The main flora being Teak (Tectona
grandis) , Saja (Terminalia tomentosa), Bija (Pterocarpus marsupium),
Lendia, Haldu, Dhaora, Aonla, Amaltas etc. The ground is covered
with a number of grasses, bushes, herbs & shrubs. Dazzling white
Kullu trees scattered around singly in the forest is conspicuous
among various hues of green. The old plantations of Teak & Bamboo
add orderly vistas in the otherwise general wilderness.

Mahua Vann |

The Mahua
Vann Resort is spread in an area of thick forest has comprise of
13.5 Acre land and shrubs with a large seasonal river on one side
and a smaller one on the other side of the property. Both these
converge at the Sangam point, which has a large sandy patch and many
boulders strewn across. The resort is configured as a tribal village
and the cottage lay out gives a feel of privacy to each cottage with
a view of either of the two water bodies. The resorts lay out and
design is in an eco friendly and vernacular style with the use of
local building materials and practices. The central areas and
cottages blend with the abundance of Mahua and other trees in a non

Baghvan is aptly named after one of India’s iconic symbols, the
Bengal tiger (bagh – tiger & van – forest). Pronounced ‘baaghvun’,
this enchanting lodge is located on the edge of Pench National Park,
a dry deciduous forest of predominantly teak trees and meandering
jungle streams. A mere five-minute drive to the park’s entrance
takes our guests deep into the heart of the Indian jungle.
Breakfasts and lunches are served on a sweeping shaded deck
surrounding the beautiful swimming pool and overlooking the nullah,
a favoured route of the Pench tigers. Sunset is celebrated with
cocktails under a huge Banyan tree whilst watching a giant flying
squirrel perform breathtaking aerobatics.

provides the facility of dormitory for 10 persons within the
premises.

Children's Park, Big Parking space and lot more. Variety in Indian
cuisine is speciality of their resort. One can enjoy the Machaan
